The ARASIA Nuclear Medicine Booklet was officially launched during the ARASIA Board of Representatives Meeting at the 68th IAEA General Conference (GC68), in Vienna.

The ARASIA Nuclear Medicine Booklet was officially launched during the ARASIA Board of Representatives Meeting at the 68th IAEA General Conference (GC68), in Vienna.The new ARASIA booklet was launched by the IAEA Deputy Director General Head of the Technical Cooperation Department Mr. Liu Hua (DDG-TC) and the Chairman of ARASIA Dr. Bilal Nsouli, who highlighted the importance of this publication in strengthening regional cooperation in nuclear medicine.

 

The booklet provides information on regional capabilities (both Human Resources and equipment), namely advanced centers that can support capacity building in the field of nuclear medicine field. It highlights the current status of diagnostic and therapeutical procedures in ARASIA countries as well as capacity development programmes and agreements with the IAEA to that purpose. The publication also offers valuable insights into the latest advancements and applications of nuclear medicine, aimed at improving healthcare across ARASIA member states. It is a key resource for healthcare professionals and policymakers, fostering knowledge-sharing and collaboration in the region.
