Iraq’s I-NRC Becomes an ARASIA Regional Resource Centre on Environmental Radiation Monitoring

The National Nuclear, Radiological, Chemical and Biological Regulatory Commission (I-NRC) in Iraq was officially designated as a new ARASIA Regional Resource Centre on Environmental Radiation Monitoring at ARASIA's annual meeting on the margins of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) 70th General Conference. This recognition formalizes I-NRC's role as a regional provider of expertise in its field. Ten existing ARASIA Regional Resource Centres serve as regional hubs for nuclear medicine, dosimetry and environmental monitoring.
